6.what are the main figures/objects/background of the poster? The main object in the poster is hogwarts castle on fire in the background, with the main light source behind the castle, but the castle is on fire so you can see it in detail. The image is represented photographically. There are no Characters on the poster
7 . how does the layout of the poster affect it's message? The poster put the castle in the centre/top half of the frame, to draw attention to the castle
8. Describe why the designer has used the particular typeface The typeface in the Harry potter films have remained the same since the first film, so everyone knows The typeface.
9. what visual camera techniques have been used? its a .. portrait landscape?? of a castle rule of thirds applied with digital editing.
10. Are the messages in the poster primarily visual, verbal, or both? The picture in the background, tells you about the battle in the last film, and the tagline tells you these are the last 2 films.
11.Given that all movie posters have the same purpose- to get audiences to go see a movie- what persuasive techniques does the poster use? the poster has very little information and the only tagline (it all ends here) is punchy and grabs the readers attention and makes you want to go watch the films
12 What USP is used? hogwarts is a unique setting so it is used on the poster because people know what it is, so they see the poster and know what film it is.
13. Are "expert Witnesses" ie. Critics quoted? no expert witnesses are quoted on the poster
14. How is attention gained? I think the HP in the centre grabs your attention most, it contrasts the dark background.
15. How does the tagline work. It's a punchy high impact tagline that makes you want to find out whats going to happen.
